Project Overview
We had the pleasure of collaborating with Nicola and Scott to bring their vision of a timeless ‘forever home’ to life at Newgate Lane, set within the grounds of Nicola’s childhood home. This bespoke four-bedroom residence has been carefully designed to balance traditional character with a calm, contemporary interior approach.
Inspired by the surrounding rural landscape, the interiors are defined by a soft, natural palette and a considered mix of materials that create warmth, texture, and a sense of continuity throughout the home. Each space has been designed to feel both functional and inviting, supporting modern family life while maintaining a refined, understated aesthetic.
Materiality plays a key role, with timber finishes and subtle detailing adding depth and tactility. The layout enhances natural light and frames views of the countryside, creating bright, open spaces that feel connected to their setting.
The result is a home that feels cohesive and personal. Where comfort, simplicity, and thoughtful design come together to create a relaxed and enduring interior.
